Filmstaff.com is the fastest growing entertainment employment network. You can easily find all of your crew needs from pre production, like talent agents and location scouts; production crew, like production assistants, cinematographers and camera crew, makeup artists, art directors and art department professionals, UPMs and assistant directors; and post production crew, like film editing, video editing, and sound designers. Filmstaff.com is not an employment agencency, and we do not ever raise your crew costs by taking a fee or percentage based on pay rates. All of our Crew Members pay a low monthly fee to have access to you and your jobs, and we never ask to take more money out of their pockets!

Film commissions, video production companies, and other entertainment industry professionals often ask us to post non-paying jobs. Currently, we specifically do not add these jobs to our list because we want to insure the best possible crew selection in our Crew Membership.
It is important to your project to be able to offer experienced crew as well as production assistants and personal assistants. Experience tells us that too many non-paying jobs in our list deter the best Crew Members from joining our service. (would you want to belong to a service that contained mostly non-paying jobs?)
If you are looking for a non-paid entertainment job to be filled, use the Searchable Database to find crew members who may be willing to work for deferred pay or "Copy and Credit".

Casting Calls and Auditions

Although it is not our focus, hundreds of actors and hopefuls visit our site every day looking for acting jobs or jobs as movie extras. If you are a talent agent or casting director -- or if you just have a few hard-to-fill rolls, you are more than welcome to post your movie auditions on our site.
As you know, there is a fair amount of exploitation of young people looking to be movie stars, and Filmstaff.com does not participate in exploitive activities. Any producer application or job posting that is deemed by our staff to be suspect will not be approved. We take an especially hard look at acting jobs and movie extra casting calls for this reason.
